This room is 44 sq. meters (52 sq. yards) and is equipped with a bathroom with bathtub, TV, DVD, telephone, Internet and kitchenette. The kitchenette consists of a fridge, a work surface without a stove, but with a kettle and kitchen cupboards, fully equipped with crockery (plates, cups, glasses and cutlery). If necessary, an additional bed is bookable. The beds can stand together or apart. You can enjoy a view of the Castle Church ”Theses Doors” from your window.

Our hotel offers eight exclusive non-smoking rooms varying in size from 27 to 66 sq. meters (32 to 79 sq. yards). Each room has its own historical charm. Most of them have a direct view of the castle grounds and the ”Theses Doors” of the Castle Church. Our rooms are suitable for guests with allergies. In addition to a sauna, our Wellness Center also offers our guests hydrotherapy. The combination of historical and traditional ambience, along with our superb organic restaurant, makes for a highly enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Justus Jonas – 1493-1555

Justus Jonas joined the Reformist movement early on and changed his focus of study to theology. In 1521, he became provost in Wittenberg and lived in the building where our hotel is now situated. His appointment came about at the recommendation of Martin Luther and Philip Melanchton. Jonas became an official of the Lutheran church. As a contemporary of Luther and Melanchton, he is known as one of the most famous reformers from the first generation.
