Our hotel offers eight exclusive non-smoking rooms varying in size from 27 to 66 sq. meters (32 to 79 sq. yards). Each room has its own historical charm. Most of them have a direct view of the castle grounds and the ”Theses Doors” of the Castle Church. Our rooms are suitable for guests with allergies. Michael Agricola – ca . 1510-1557

Michael Agricola was Finland’s reformer and creator of the Finnish alphabet. He was born about 1510 in Pernaja in eastern Nyland as the son of a poor fisherman. From 1536 to 1539 he studied at the University of Wittenberg. He died on April 9, 1557 in Uusikirkko near Moscow as he was returning from a political mission in Russia.
